Sofia Bartolomeo (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) is a multidisciplinary visual artist in the areas of painting, design, and sculpture. For two decades, she has been researching the immaterial and how to materialize it through symbols, forms, and colors.

Her works overflow with feminine energy and address themes such as interdependence, unity, and balance. Her abstract and symbolic series stimulate pareidolia in the viewer, the human intelligence to recognize figures in the randomness of forms.

Sofia has participated in exhibitions in Belo Horizonte, São Paulo, New York, and Paris, in addition to completing an artistic residency and solo exhibition at the Santa Barbara Center of Arts, Science and Technology in California.
